OLIVIA NEWTON BUNDY

Brian Tutunick was the first bassist for Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids. Manson was less than complimentary about Tutunick's brief time in the band, essentially saying that he was simply the only bassist that could be found at the time they formed. He was swiftly replaced by Gidget Gein after a short tenure. His stage name, in keeping with the starlet/serial killer theme, comprised singer and actress Olivia Newton John (of Grease fame), and sadistic sex-killer Ted Bundy.

As was scoffed by Manson in his autobiography The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell, Tutunick later performed with the band Collapsing Lungs, who in addition to their questionable name, were unrecognised outside of their native Florida. Tutunick later left and created his own offshoot band, L.U.N.G.S (Losers Usually Never Get Signed), and in 1995 released the full length Better Class Of Losers album on Pavement/Zoo/BMG records. In 1996 Tutunick again formed a new band, Nation of Fear, with DJ Grynch. They released their first album for the now defunct radio station 9.49 WZTA

Nation of Fear toured with The Genitorturers, known for their earlier shows with Marilyn Manson. Although the second Nation Of Fear album was well received, by 2000 they had split.

In 2000 Bundy contributed to the unauthorised Marilyn Manson documentary Demystifying The Devil.
