In addition to his chief involvement in creating the film's score, Resident Evil is also significant for its use of a computer mainframe character called The Red Queen, evidently influenced by Lewis Carroll's Alice Through The Looking Glass. Manson would later openly reference a character named The Red Queen during the song EAT ME, DRINK ME, and has been alluding to Carroll in relation to his own work for many years now, including his as yet unreleased film project based on the author; Phantasmagoria - The Visions Of Lewis Carroll.

The Fight Song [Slipknot Remix] was also released two years prior to Resident Evil as track 2 of The Fight Song CD single [Part. 1].
