aw, that's sad. -.-
i'd go with you if it wasn't such a big distance between my hometown and Switzerland...

anyways, i hope it'll be a great experience for you, hun! :)
please tell us everything afterwards.

Yeah, I know. Most of my friends just don't like him...and those who like him couldn't make it. :(
Yes, the distance is way too big. That's a real shame!

Thank you! :) I'll do my best to inform you afterwards. But you have to wait until I get home on Wednesday evening.

yeah, it's a big shame! that reminds me of the gig in Interlaken, Switzerland back in 2007 where nobody was able report anything, because there were no users from Switzeland going to that gig...

so, i'm happy that at least ONE person is going this time.
i'll be patient, don't worry.^^

There's videos from this show here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/BrunoAlejandro999

I haven't gone through them all, I just discovered them as I'm about to retire, so I can't point out highlights, but it looks like it was a good show from the little I've seen, and the audience sounds into it.

I just got home and I'm still thrilled. It was my first Manson concert and I loved every second of it...so my impression isn't really unbiased. I think it was a great show. The band seemd to have fun on stage and as far as I can judge Manson was in a good mood! :) I did not expect anything in advance and was pleasantly surprised. There was a very short review in a Genevan newspaper...they basically said the the show was lame and too short. But hey, I enjoyed it!
I'm going to write more about it as soon as I have time.

I just found some pics:

http://romandie.usgang.ch/picture.php?page=0&n=316696

Manson grabbed the camera of one of the photographers. You'll see that on the pics! :)

Thanks for the youtube link, gd'oh'lord. I also made some very shaky videos and some blurry pictures.

Tinuviel did you hear also the soundcheck?
Is it true they played I Wanna Kill You Like They Do In The Movies?

Yes, I've heard the soundcheck and they did play I Want To Kill You Like They Do In the Movies.

I'm going to write more details. But I've got to take my time to write everything down and I'm just too tired at the moment! I couldn't sleep much last night...I was too jittery to sleep and there was a continual coming and going at the youth hostel. ;)

Thanks so much for the info. I think they gonna play it soon, like they did last year with Mechanical Animals.

was it a shortened version?
i can't see this son played live. i mean, it's too long and the crowd will get bored after a while.

It could work if they play a short film in the background (maybe the music vid they filmed?) to give the crowd something to watch. It would fit in with the movie theme of this tour.

I'm sorry I wasn't attentive enough so I can't tell you, if it was a shortened version. It was quit hard to hear anyway.

I actually agree with Maniac Master. I think the song would be too long to be played live, even though it would go with the theme.

Twiggy's vocals sound stellar during "Leave a Scar". I can't wait to hear it live myself.
