Tell us who's going, chat about meet ups and chat about the show afterwards.

I'm going with three others who not on any Manson boards, but are fans. I'm sooooo excited, as this is the first time the band is coming to our neck of the woods!

Tonight's the night, but I won't be able to give a review until sometime on saturday when I get back (it's a road trip) and back in front of my computer.

Manson's been asking for a "Canadian dollar bill" before the Dope Show. I think he must realize Canada doesn't have a paper dollar, and hasn't for eons. So people have been throwing 'loonies', which is a dollar coin. But I managed to get an actual old Canadian dollar bill, and I'm hoping I get close enough to get it to him...which mostly depends on how close the Metro Center allows the audience to get. They are not fond of catwalks there. Here's hopin'.

I'm too exhausted to write loads, but I had to come on to say for now:

I'm so proud of my city, I almost cried. Halifax went crazy for Manson, it shocked the shit out of me and my friends! I don't know how many people attended, but I'd say it was 4000+ anyway. Everywhere you looked people were rocking out.

Manson and the band were in top form, and he talked to us a lot and complimented Halifax wholeheartedly. Some great moments I can expand on later (Vids should surface, lots of cameras there)...just wiped, long trip, and the floor was intense.

Here's the set list:

We're From America
Disposable Teens
Pretty as a ($)
The Love Song
Irresponsible Hate Anthem
Four Rusted Horses
Dried Up, Tied, and Dead to the World
Leave a Scar
Dope Show
Running to the Edge of the World
Rock is Dead
Sweet Dreams
Rock n' Roll Nigger
Beautiful People

Short but oh so sweet...

I like how Dried Up is more into the set than just an encore.

^Running and Dried Up were a couple of my favorite moments. Great performances, was awesome to see Manson on guitar (which I've never seen live before).
The thick dry ice during Running covered the first five rows or so. The air felt really thin to breathe, lol.
All we could see was Manson in his white hoodie under the spotlight.

I hope someone somewhere got a shot of Twiggy and Manson bent over and touching heads. Manson had such a big ear to ear grin on his face, it was adorable. xD

The singer from Die Mannequin broke her foot during the first song and kept playing. Definitely a trooper. We thought she was joking but learned that she did indeed break it.

I will be adding more details as I think of them. I'm still recovering....and I caught a BUG, hope it's not H1N1, but if it is, it was worth it, lol.

Thanks for posting the review Ezekhiel, that's one less thing I have to remember to do today! :) Glad to hear it's a good one (haven't read it yet), because anything "lesser than" would have been LIES! :D

EDIT - From the article:
"I donít know that Iíve ever heard a crowd as f---ing loud as this one!" he [Manson] exclaimed.

Hard to believe, and it was 3500 people, seemed like more, but oh well, goes to show the awesomeness of Eastern Canadians and their ability to ROCK/party!! I still can't get over how incredible last night was!

Nice pic. I loved when he blew us kisses.

Amazing videos, Pretty as a Swastika and The Love Song sound amazing to me, so powerful and it seems that in this show he was the kind of Manson I like.

Amazing videos, Pretty as a Swastika and The Love Song sound amazing to me, so powerful and it seems that in this show he was the kind of Manson I like.

You would have loved it! He was in great shape, his voice was fine, the enthusiasm was there. Everything was perfect, couldn't have asked for more (except mayba a couple of more songs). Twiggy was right in front of me, and I was thrilled, to put it mildly, lol.

Disposable Teens

Loved the crowd participation at this show. Manson held a little contest between the left and right sides to see who was loudest. (Us folks to his left won!) Then later, when Twiggy and his tech were fucking around (think it was after RnRN but not sure), the crowd was chanting in parts...so cool. On the floor we chanted "hey, hey!" and in between our parts, you could hear the people in the seats shout "Man-son!" It was so beautiful.

And thanks AlcoholicArtist!

I found a few pics, I will get them on here asap.

EDIT: Just found The Beautiful People

You're welcome, and here's two more videos, different source from the back. Sounds not great, but there's a full view of the stage, Ginger Fish is awesome, etc.

Those videos are awesome, but I wish they'd ease up on the smoke machines. You can barely see them on stage at some points.

^ Agreed. But it did make for a nice affect from the seats during RTTEOTW, at least that's what I was told. That was when the fog covered the first five rows, which made the air thin to breathe. Certainly worked to create a calming affect in these rows, lol.
