I'm the black sunspots in the sunshine.
You can't see them, they're your invisible inked suicide.
Blurred like a twisted frame.
I make statues cry, I've always been a lie.

I've always been your lie.
A sentence of nonsense for those bold enough to read into it.
You don't have to pry.
The wound is wide.
No time to slow down time.
I'm your nonsenseicon fucking you from under like a mime.
With digitis taking you for a ride, and a toll on your insides.

I create smoke in this mirror.
I make you want to cut off your ear.
In ways that aren't very clear.

Am I walking, am I running am I white?
Are you talking? I can hear you, but it sounds like a bite.
Soon you'll be seeing things that just aren't right.

I've always been your lie.
A sentence of nonsense for those bold enough to read into it.
You don't have to pry.
The wound is wide.
No time to slow down time.
I'm your nonsenseicon fucking you from under like a mime.
With digitis taking you for a ride, and a toll at Godspeed on your insides.

Dear, my fellow lunatics.
We're the better kind of the sick.
I know what makes you tick.
And I can make you talk.

Wow! I really like this. :) Is it about alcohol or some kind of substance at all...? I don't know, that's what it reminds me of...these lines, especially:

...I've always been your lie.

...and a toll on your insides.

...And I can make you talk.

And then these lines make me think of absinthe:

I create smoke in this mirror.
I make you want to cut off your ear.
In ways that aren't very clear.

Am I walking, am I running am I white?
Are you talking? I can hear you, but it sounds like a bite.
Soon you'll be seeing things that just aren't right.

Do correct me if I'm wrong...just some spare time and an observation though. Nice work! ;)

Well, first, I appreciate your reply. I didn't actually write it, conciously, or intentionally, anyway, thinking of it as being about absinthe. I can see how you can extract that substance from it though. That poem, to me, which only took about 5 minutes to type out, is really about sort of being a peice something toxic. Either for pleasure, or pain, or both.I've always been more bitter than sweet. But, then again, sometimes you really can't appraise your own work for what it truly means, or symbolizes. If it means, or symbolizes anything at all. :)
