This entire article was grand work MaryWhore, thank you for sharing, even though we had discussed it privately, I was still pleased and impressed to read and observe further. It's a shame there hasn't been more response or discussion yet, which I extend past Provider Module to Babalon as well, as I read both submissions in both places.

Whilst I still believe there is comparison to be made between Franz Marc's Dog Lying In The Snow (http://i403.photobucket.com/albums/pp112/providermodule/Analysis/SnowGreta.jpg) and Greta, the latter painting also reminds me of the dog seen in Dali's Dali At The Age Of Six, When He Thought He Was A Girl, Lifting The Skin Of The Water To See A Dog Sleeping In The Shade Of The Sea (and people complain Manson's song titles are long these days...):-

That's obviously only a partial section of Dali's work, but they seemed similar enough to me to warrant mention. Also, perhaps we could consider the When He Thought He Was A Girl part of the title to Manson's lyrics;

"Feeling like a child and looking like a woman"
"Hey Hey Hey Mr. Superman, I want to be your little girl"
"Want me to save the world, I'm just a little girl"

Oh and also, before I forget, I thought you might enjoy this comparison in addition to the one posed in the article:-

This is a great thread, but for me there is little to add because so much has been covered. But it's a nice read.

The above egg comparison is cool, I wonder how much input Manson had with that image. I think it was from the NME feature right?
