Hey, I wanted to ask everyone on here if there is a chance that there will be a future DVD release for Nine Inch Nails' Wave Goodbye tour in 2009. I was at The O2 Arena concert in 2009, I really want to rewatch that tour again. It would be awesome if NIN get back to touring again in the future.
Any Ideas?
This belongs in the music section. Move this thread to the music section. I said move this thread to the music section. Move dis thread to the music section. Now move. Shangri-Boy I tell em. @Shangs: LOL
@Adam: TR has posted two videos from their last club run, each from a different show. I imagine instead of releasing a single concert, he'll probably do a compliation from across everything. They covered a crazy amount of material so they probably have tons to choose from.

@cringeon. Will this compilation release be similar to Marilyn Manson's guns, god and government tour dvd, where it has clips off all different shows during the tour?

^ Who knows. We'll only find out something if Trent announces it :P

There's the DVD for 'The Downward Spiral: Live' (just the TDS performance part of the show, the rest is not included) that www.thisoneisonus.org put out last year. I know, sound isn't top quality, but it's still a pretty decent documentation of that event.

Yeah, it's definitely pretty decent for being all fan shot. I'm curious if that other fanmade video of the very last show will surface - it seems that project has kind of stalled.

Honestly, it kind of seems like they ALL have.
I shot TONS of footage on the Wave Goodbye Tour(s) and even sent a few discs around to various people trying to get multi-cam edits of specific shows put together and haven't heard a peep from any of 'em.
Kinda frustrating when we're talking about shows with an open taping policy and it's a known fact that there's about a billion sources for each one.

sweet, do you know if that guy has footage of the The O2 Arena concert in 2009, which was the London show on 15th July 2009?

Well, you can download WONDERFUL audio of the complete show here:
http://www.reflectinginthechrome.com/shows/2009/20090715.html
And here:

And there's a BUNCH of footage from the O2 '09 show on YouTube...I'm sure if you dig around a bit you can probably even find a source from somewhere near wherever you were located and maybe even hear yourself screaming along, lol.
Here's one of my favorites:

And I'm assuming you've seen the official stuff shot onstage by Rob Sheridan, but just in case...

UPDATE: My bad! Did some digging and it turns out the guy I sent my Toronto footage to actually DID complete his edit and post it a few months ago! Nice to see he had lots of footage to choose from but still used mine quite a bit.
:)
Here's his two multi-cam samples and his post with standard AND iPOD download links for the entire multi-cam fan-edit concert DVD:

Notes: This project was completed almost a year ago. I've been holding onto this final copy in hopes that I could re-edit in 16:9 and re-author it on a dual-layer disc so it wasn't so compressed and letter boxed but I just don't have the time to re-edit an entire show. This show was a learning experience for me in regards to making a DVD. I've learned now that editing a project and making a DVD are two completely different beasts. Hopefully you all enjoy the final product. There is also an ipod file available for download here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D2L10BO8 (it's 320x240, 29.97fps, mp4)
Huge thanks to everyone who contributed footage (See credits) and again, sorry I didn't get this out sooner, I just really had the best of intentions of re-doing it in better quality. Life happens. Anyways, Enjoy and please SHARE FREELY. DO NOT SELL THIS DVD! Massive Thanks to Trent and the rest of NIN for the open taping policy on the NINJA tour. I hope someday you tour again.
Please keep this to Dimeadozen.org and B&P's. Thanks.

cheers man, I think I've already seen a lot of the videos on youtube, but they're crap quality. At the O2 show I was standing around the left side of the crowd at the edge, which was away from the centre of the crowd. I don't think I'll be able to find myself, which sucks.
