The was texting whist walking. So, she wasn't aware of her surroundings, and, thus, fell into the mall's fountain. I don't understand why people don't think it's important to remain engaged with the world. It's no wonder the mall security had a field day with her. I think it's rediculous that she had sued mall security ( and that a security employee lost his job). While i did feel bad that she was made famous inadvertently vis a vis YouTube, I personally think that she behaved in a grossly negligent manner. I think she had learned her lesson, but after the fact...

And now it's been found that she has a bit if a criminal past. Go figure...

Couple of issues here:

1. It's a very grainy security cam video. If she hadn't come out saying "that's me and I'm embarrassed, give me money!" would anyone of known it was her? Thus, preventing embarrassment.

2. If people can't even WALK and text, what makes them think they can DRIVE and text so easily?
