Just watched this video, it's pretty insane.
We all know how bad it was from watching the news, but check out this video.

It must be awful for the japanese. It would crush my soul to see my home sail away and my precious car get mangled.

It's awful any time people die. What bothers me is how people only care about deaths when a disaster like this happens, or when it is only in the news. Thousands of people are dying all the time and no one cares. I wish the people who care would care about the constant evil occurring on this planet.

Either way, I don't want to downplay this tragedy either. There is a bright side though, the excellent architecture of Japanese structures seem to have greatly decreased the potential damage.

I have a question.

Why is the person filming not A) running, or B) much higher up?

Lol yeah I Know. But if I had a camera I would probably try and film as much as I could as well. They move up a bit... but I would be up at the top to start with and just zoom in or deal with being a bit further away.

I never thought I would have said this but... I totally agree. Death is a tragedy, doesn't matter where it happens or how.
