Thread to include general info regarding the new video until official word is shared.

Saw this posted on Babalon:

"Up early for a video shoot today. Can I say who it is yet? ;)"

"Just did the most beautiful knee suspension for a Manson and Shia LeBeouf project. Now time to put the skewer lesson to use."

Will be interesting to see how the suspension is used in the video. Looking at her website, I also see she isn't afraid of public nudity, so we'll see how that gets worked in... Manson certainly has a knack for getting beautiful women naked in the name of his art (how sneaky of him).

I know a guy that does suspensions, whenever I see one now all I can think of is the wonderfully disgusting popping sound the needles make when they break through.

Spent the day suspending @MissCrash (http://twitter.com/MissCrash) with @Steve_Truitt (http://twitter.com/Steve_Truitt) for @marilynmanson (http://twitter.com/marilynmanson) and Shia Labeouf! so much fun! more suspension stuff for me soon!
Another from a different suspension artist. I'm stoked that so much work is going on while not announcing a damn thing, just feels like it'll all hit at once.

I just had a look through twitter and re-tweeted some tweets I saw about the filming of the new video -

Some are posted in this thread, one or two might not be though.

Found a pic of Miss Crash shot by Chad Michael Ward who worked for MM previously. A little Holy Wood reference too. I'm putting the pic as a spoiler because it's NSFW.

I found out on Mansonwiki.com that Marilyn Manson was recently working on the set for his new music video that is going to be for the single of his next album. The video will have an appearence by extreme performance artist: Steve Truitt.
The link below mentions the work of the new music video, where you can read about it on the "Singles" paragraph on the page regarding his eighth studio album:

While I understand the conclusion, there's nothing saying that this video is for sure a single. Really, the only info is that the a video is shot and anything else is speculation. It could be something like Doppelherz, or something that isn't a typical "music video" format.

Oh god, I hope it's not another Doppelherz.

Oh god, I hope I don't get beaten up for saying that.

Let us not have anything reminiscent of that particular era..

I liked Doppelherz, and fucking LOVED The Golden Age of Grotesque. But that was the first time I'd ever heard MM's music or even really seen him on TV or anything. I still think it's a great era/album though actually thinking about it right now makes me want to listen to it.

I think Cringeon was using Doppelherz as an example of a Manson video project that's still not strictly a music video, rather than suggesting what they're currently working on will be similar to Doppelherz.

Also, don't be silly people, I know we have a healthy support for the band here, but there's nothing saying you can't dislike something. If a video's not to your taste I'd rather fans were honest about why instead of forcing themselves to enjoy it.

I'm also really excited to see what this new video brings to the table. Manson's web-designer Steve mentioned about Shia LeBeouf's resourcefulness on his Facebook earlier today, I think that whatever we get to see next will be very interesting, to say the least.

Seriously!? Holy Wood would forever be my fav., but GAOG had a fun attitude, great shows, awesome clothing by the band, and I liked the musik.

Oh I wasn't knockin' GAOG because it's my favorite from time to time, I just didn't like Doppelherz.
To me GAOG was the most entertaining era of Marilyn Manson. And the extra DVD thing was nice to have, it just didn't do it for me when I watched it.

That is all.

Not to derail the thread, but I just felt like it had sooo much potential and I guess I overhyped what I thought it could be...but it does have it's glorious moments.

The aesthetics didn't do enough for me.
