So, i know when Born Villain came out, alot of people is calling "Breaking the Same Old Ground" the modern day The Man That You Fear, but I dont believe so. Even though Breaking the same old ground is a good song, I think that the track Born Villain is more like TMTYF. It has that same tone in music and almost the metaphor of somebody being hated and feels that he was turned on by his followers or loved ones?

Man that you fear has this lyric:
I was born into this

Born Villain
I'm born villain

Man That you fear:
the boy that you loved is the
man that you fear

Born Villain:
don't pretend to be a victim

Anyone else see it?

I don't see the similarities at ALL. Man That You Fear is a masterpiece. The song Born Villain still needs to grow on me.

C. Neither Born Villain or Breaking the Same Old Ground are anything like Man That You Fear.

not really getting this. to be honest, parts of "Children of Cain" remind me far more of "Man That You Fear"

I don't think there are any similarities between anything on Antichrist Superstar and Born Villain...

There is a taste for blood...

If anything it's similar to If I Was Your Vampire, at least riff-wise. Lyrically it's similar to elements of Count To Six And Die.
