Did anyone else think of Dorothy Parker's poem, Resume, after hearing "a gun's cliche and a razor too" :
Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren’t lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.
Also, Vlad the Impaler as partial inspiration to the backdrop with all of the crosses:
