My Christmas "gift" this year was a new camera to replace the one that somehow disappeared when I moved... so, if it's okay with everyone, I'd like to share my work. Mostly as a way to stay motivated. I'm no professional or even close (though I'd love to be).

Some from my archives to start....

Sixteen Saltines, your thread was my inspiration to share and get back into photography - I hope you don't mind me "copying" you.

I think you need to choose much more interesting subjects.

I definitely agree... suggestions and criticism welcome, I'm just now learning and getting serious about it.

I take a shit-load of photos with my camera, but only show a very small fraction of them.
When I'm out taking pictures I just go crazy and take hundreds! It isn't until I look at them on my computer that I decide if a photo is interesting or not.

Maybe try to pick a simple theme and just take pictures of that. I like finding angles and things that show depth/distance.

That being said, I like the horse race and the horses muzzle (b&w).
