Discuss all things Dragon Ball here. I've recently watched this show again, and it didn't take me so long to see why I loved it so much. It's been a very long time since I've seen it, and I'm currently very nostalgic over it right now. I mostly got into Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, but I actually didn't see that much of Dragon Ball GT or anything else after it because I just seemed to forget about it. However, only a few minutes into almost any given episode of Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z and I'm just filled with complete nostalgia. I think I was a fan of this franchise since at least 1995 or 1996, but didn't really get into it completely until some time around 1997 as I grew up watching Toonami on Cartoon Network.

Never really watched much 'Dragon Ball' but I like Dragon Ball Z. I downloaded and watched GT, had some good episodes but eh, Z is my favorite. Looking forward to Battle of the Gods.

Loved all the series. Z has the best of the best and Frieza is my favorite character/villain. I have a soft spot in saying that the original Dragon Ball is my favorite as it is the most original, oozing of Japanese culture/lore/references and has the most variety and tangible ideas. I fucking love The Red Ribbon Army.

GT is all right but more modern and awkward at times, still quality though.

Huge fan of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball. I looked forward to the live-action movie, but it ended up sucking so bad that I choose to forget it exists entirely (like Transformers). My favorite section overall would easily be the Android/Cell saga, but I love the rest as well.

Anyone here a fan of Team Four Star (http://www.youtube.com/user/TeamFourStar)? Their YouTube Dragon Ball parodies are all insanely well made. They just started the beginnings of the Cell saga so I'm pretty pumped about new episodes on the way.

Team Four Star seems big enough to warrant its own thread. I suppose it's simply a must-see for any fan of the Dragon Ball franchise. I also want to actually support the official product, but don't have the means for the DVDs right now. I like how Team Four Star can hold me over, as it's almost as if I'm watching the actual series, just with their own twist of humor. I also love just how spot on the voice acting for Vegeta is.

I thought I'd actually start this thread with these videos. They're actually trying to cover all of the sagas. It really would be also something if there were some younger fans that actually heard of Team Four Star before Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT.

I'm terribly sorry about that, as I often try my best to avoid making mistakes like that. I even forgot that you've already mentioned it here.

I was also mistaken on the account that it had its own website, and thought that it could have it's own thread, as Internet shows were allowed to have their separate threads, but if it must go here, it must go here.

Anyway, to get back onto the topic, Team Four Star really is just as entertaining and exiting as the regular show, with an obviously far more humorous twist.

I think for me, it's not just the hilarity of the episodes that makes it enjoyable, but the accuracy of the parodies as well. As of now, I think it's gone up to the Androids Saga. I haven't followed Team Four Star for a while, but it certainly didn't take me that long to get hooked on it again.

-Edit-

I suppose this means that it's okay for any Dragon Ball parodies to be posted here then. These got a lot more views than I ever expected, and they were both made by OneyNG on YouTube.

It's nice to see that you found them to be funny, and now that you mention it, I think it would be just right for parodies and anime music videos in general.

As for the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z franchise, I thought of getting the DVDs, but I think I'd start with Dragon Ball Z first. I also tried the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z soda, and it turned out to a lot better than I thought. It seems like I've also lucked out with the soda. And I really mean lucked out, because it only seemed to be available in one or two Chinese grocery stores around my way, and I live in NYC. I also could've sworn that I've hard of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z ever since 1992-1995, as I went to an elementary schools that had mostly Asian students. I've figured somebody might had the chance to see it in Japan for all I know. I didn't really get to see any Dragon Ball Z until 1996-1997 though, and from what I recall it was around late 1997 to early 1998 when I actually became a fan.

Lol. The yaoi versions of these series are always too much fun. The porn versions of Voltron and Pokemon are sick fun too.

I suppose I'll just post this here, because I somehow got blocked when I posted it at the Post Humor! thread. It's also a Dragon Ball Z parody of a Dragon Ball Z parody, which was taken directly from TeamFourStar. =P

*Oh wait, that wasn't it, but I'm afraid to post there now.*

I came across Kanzenshuu late, but I still thought that it was definitely a Dragon Ball site that would've been worth sharing. They're also on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Google+.
