I'm not able to make this one because life is horrible and everything is horrible, but how much do I have to pay someone to take a group photo in front of the plaque with my name on it inside the UGA campus? ($1,000 bonus if photo includes member of band).
I'm kind of joking, but like, not really. Like, not even a little bit.

It's a 5 minute walk from The Georgia Theatre to the Tate Student Center where the graduating classes plaques are (Tate should be amusing anyway because it's where daily, super graphic anti-abortion protests are held). You just walk straight down Lumpkin from downtown Athens through the UGA campus. Tate is directly across from the football stadium (Sanford) which is literally the easiest thing to find in Athens.

I also highlighted Jackson Street Cemetery cause it is COOL AND CREEPY AS FUCK. From like the 1700s.

Here is a blurry photo of me at graduation looking like a dipshit pointing to my name on said plaque.

...and this is actually my name.

I would try and think of a way to make this post even more ridiculous, but I don't think there is literally any way whatsoever for me to do that.

I know exactly where Tate is, I used to go there all of the time! Who do you want in the photo? I know that area can get sketch really quick late at night. Haha. I might swing by there before the show and snap a photo with it.

Which one is your name? You should go to the show! I'll be there 8 hours before.

Manson put on an impressive show, this night. Manson was impressive himself. I also think that Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge is one of his best songs ever and seems overlooked since the album release. You can't get any better than Disassociative too and as encore. I also appreciate hearing Tourniquet again. Great show and Thank You for posting! Beautiful.

15 songs is pretty much standard for Manson, why those 2 songs got cut we don't know, so relax. They got Disassociative and fucking James Hall again, that's awesome.

What is the matter with everyone? Is it like a predisposition to complain? So two set regulars got cut, who gives a fuck? It's not as though the setlist was advertised to fans as being exactly what they were going to see beforehand, and it doesn't sound as though anyone who actually paid to be there was disappointed.

I'm not familiar with James Hall, and maybe I won't go out and get everything-ever by him, but fuck me, it's a live gig, it's meant to be unpredictable, played by musicians who own the music they're performing, and you know, FUN. Getting a cameo by someone who plays from a different genre, and adds something new to the live dynamic is a great addition to a show. It sounded great, and, as has been noted... Disassociative!

The entire gig ran at an hour-and-a-half, dream setlists aside, I'd get pissed off waiting around for more than that. Short, spiky, and to the point, just like The Pale Emperor, you know, the album this tour is promoting...

Fuck, Manson sounded great. "Tourniquet" performance was the tits! "Disassociative" was great too. Also loved at the end of "Third Day...", he sang a few lines of Smashing Pumpkins' "Today".

Tyler's presence was missed, but Paul's perfectly capable of handling guitar duties from here on out. Band sounded tight, good shit.

Fuck... You know, although Manson's mentioned he enjoys the chaos of in-crowd cellphone footage, sometimes you really can't beat getting full perspective of a show from a better vantage point, both scope and sound-wise. Were you to say to the uninitiated, 'Watch this show', and tell them it was from the early Smells Like Children club tour, or some of the smaller Dead To The World shows, I really don't think they'd be able to tell the difference.

I guess the point I'm making is, that over nearly fifteen years of seeing Manson play live, I've never personally seen a massive increase or decrease in quality of performance, despite what people sometimes claim. If you film something on a shitty mobile phone whilst stood next to a speaker, being smacked about by moshers, chances are you're catching the visual chaos, but not the audible scale. It's nice to get an entire show from a (ha!) Panoramic perspective, because even staple cuts like The Beautiful People sounded fucking immense in these videos.

I'm impressed with Paul as well, although I'd still like to see Twiggy kill on guitar, he's clearly comfortable on bass, and Paul's precision and ability to lead the songs is commendable. Write on the road y'all!

As usual: People who were there loved it, people who weren't at the show complain.

What I can confirm, however, is that Paul is a great guitar player. I saw two shows back to back last year, 8/11 in Vienna with Paul and 8/12 in Prague with Paul and Tyler. Needless to say, Tyler was insane live, but the band sounded great with just Paul as well. Like Tyler said, Paul has always been there ready to take over lead guitar, and he's doing a great job.

The show seemed different from what we have recently seen, as it felt very intimate. Changes are great and we have been wanting changes. I really doubt that this setlist is going to become the standard, I feel like it was just this show and a one off.
