Why are people not super excited that Manson is gonna be on Austin City Limits?! I just realized it today and I'm psyched! I'll be watching from home.

I mean, they will be on the show, right?

The show is taped usually a bit in advance but hopefully it gets aired in full.

Crossing my fingers too! I loved NIN on it last year. Just caught a repeat of it the other day. Although NIN's performance aired in April of 2014, but was taped in October of 2013. So, I imagine if Manson IS on the show, it won't air for months.

And yeah, what Cringeon said.

Is this the same deal as with NIN's performance? Because I remember than being a one-off show with limited production, ACL style. Or does ACL also work as just a regular venue for shows?

I'm assuming this won't be taped as I've seen nothing to indicate it will on their site. It would be killer to be proven wrong, but I'm highly doubting this will happen.

Oh well, off to the show in an hour. Can't fucking wait. :)

In "line." We are all just sheltering in the only available shade at the moment.

The show was good. Manson was, of course, a treat to see. Although I don't think I can handle the "greatest hits" set-list anymore, I enjoyed myself. The audience was kind of crap compared to the last time I saw him in 2012 (somehow I survived last night's entire set with one of my shoes untied), but they were decently lively. I just wish Manson would find a better set-list because the only song played that wasn't a greatest hit was Angel with the Scabbed Wings. Of course Lunchbox hit hard and that was great to see again, so no complaints there. No Reflection was the low point of his set, and would have been replaced far better by another TPE song (but it is what it is).

All in all I had fun, I just wish the set-list was more exciting. I suppose I should have simply just expected this set from a co-headline tour. 2008 had a fantastic set, and I'd love to see that kind of variety once more. At least I had fun and my voice is completely shot regardless.

Indeed it was. Seeing Manson's handprint in red after smacking their asses was nice.

I agree with the above comment about how good the 2008 set list was when I saw him in Texas, he played a portion of hits but also played some other songs that were not too common, Mechanical Animals, Rock N Roll Nigger, 1996 etc
I have seen him live like 7 times since 2012, and the set list has been the same for the most part.
I was going to go see him for the end times, but its not worth the flight money, hotel money, and all other expenses to see the same set list. I am not complaining, he still puts on a awesome show but I am going to wait till the next tour and see if there is any variation

I'm glad that they added Antichrist Superstar back onto the set. It sounds great, and looks really badass with the smoke machines.

I'm conditioned to expect the Hell Outro, so it always feels missing when it doesn't punch in.

Manson mentioned it was Lunchbox's 21st birthday prior to this.

I was hoping someone would have caught video footage of Manson cutting up his hand with broken bottles, but no luck.
