View Full Version : Lack of a British tour...again.

Does anyone else, particularly British fans find it odd that there has been a considerable lack of British tour dates announced? I know Manson's performing this year at Download but for recent tours the UK has been fairly ignored, if you disregard the Zombie/Manson tour from a couple of years ago I don't think he's done a full UK tour since THEOL.

Yeah it does suck because I would love to see him on this tour. I can't make it to download festival but would of been good to seen him on his own tour. Maybe early next year or next album your? Maybe he doesn't like the UK very much

That is just unfair, I love the Brits!

I'm sure UK dates will come, only a handful got announced yesterday and there's plenty of countries he usually goes to but hasn't announced anything for. Be patient they usually announce so many and then more come after.

And most of the EU was given twins of evil, but I bet if that had not happened it would have been a MM headlining tour instead. Either way MM has given the UK 5? shows for every recent release. So there isn't a lack of at all.

No dates in Spain either lately, so I get your pain...

You do realize that he's touring Europe again this Winter, right? Many more dates will be announced soon and I doubt that there will be no UK dates...

If you build it, he will come.

I do hope that there will be a headlining tour soon, I haven't been to a Manson show in far too long and had no interest in the co-headlining tour due to my complete disinterest in Rob Zombie.

That's your loss then because I don't think tickets were much more expensive than MM on his own, you could have seen MM and then left.

Had I known that it was the only tour he was doing in the UK I probably would've done that, obviously now I feel quite stupid. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Well I guess this is now irrelevant considering there is a UK tour...

Yeah but they are all ages away from where I am :( I was hoping for a Birmingham date

I was hoping for a Birmingham date as well but Wolverhampton will have to do.

I know right? It's a whole TWELVE MILES from Birmingham! How will you guys cope?! (sorry, just find these sort of complaints hard to comprehend being out in Norfolk, where it's always a 100 mile plus trip to see any band who plays in venues holding more than 2000 people!).

when I saw Wolverhampton I just figured it's as close to Birmingham so it's instead of where he usually goes, not a big deal.

Well, my fucking awesome manager at work is giving me the time off so I'm looking at hitting all 4 shows this time. Just got to plan, arrange, sort out the costs etc.

I'll hopefully be going to Wolverhampton, I'd try and go to London as well but the life of a student does mean a limited budget.

I live in Hull, any complaints about no local shows are nothing to me, haha. Manchester sounds good
