Fucking amazing show tonight! Not really a fan of Of Mice & Men, but to their credit, they were actually decent live. Manson was up next, and he was on his A-game. The whole band was. And Tyler Bates played tonight's show too! Super stoked about that, because I love the 2-guitarist dynamic. Gives the band and the music that punch to the crotch and extra oomph it needs. Gil Sharone is a fucking beast, and Twiggy's outfits get more weird and more wonderful each tour.

My girlfriend took a few photos. We had balcony seats, but it wasn't an insanely big venue to begin with, so we still had a great view. And then during "The Beautiful People", Manson walked all throughout the crowd and walked RIGHT BY where I was sitting. Couldn't fucking believe it, that he was that close to me. So cool, so so cool. Such a nice little moment. Slipknot were amazing too, and closed out the show. Back to Manson though...

Setlist:

1. Intro / Angel with the Scabbed Wings
2. Disposable Teens
3. No Reflection
4. mOBSCENE
5. Deep Six
6. This is The New Shit
7. The Dope Show
8. Sweet Dreams (sadly, no stilts this time)
9. Antichrist Superstar (where he just spoke a lot of gibberish during most of it haha. And weirdly, it wasn't awful. He made it work)
10. The Beautiful People

Sadly, no "Cruci-Fiction in Space". But still an amazing show.

Anyway, a pic or two. These aren't great quality, but she took like a pic or two for each song.

Antichrist Superstar (burning Bible included)

Deep Six (the $666 bill was rolled out for this song)

Angel with the Scabbed Wings (we were pretty close, despite being seated)

And... me and my lady right before Manson went on stage =)

Also, picked up this sweet tee for $35. A little steep, but what do you expect AT the show! Tour dates on the back. One of the better new Manson tees in a while. Love it.

I like that near the end that he brought back the belly bounce hip thrust even though he didn't do it that long. :P Haven't seen that in a live performance video since the old days.

If you're honestly satisfied with this set list, you're f*cking deluded.

what an awful array of songs.

Surely you're not someone who gets excited by hearing Disposable Teens, Mobscene, No Reflection, This is the new shit.

I thought MM would deliver some sort of cutting edge set, being the support act and all.

I feel sorry for the fans on here that only have this sort of set to look forward to. How disappointing

^ Nice positive attitude, sport. It was a co-headlining tour, what do you expect? It's usually just the "hits" and singles on these kinds of show anyway. Obviously when he tours in support of the next album, it'll be a longer show with a better setlist. And I'll go and enjoy that too. And no, the choices of songs aren't the most desirable but again, it was a CO-HEADLINING tour, what do you expect?

Been a fan for 20 years now, and after seeing how his live performances suffered from roughly 2007-2012, it was a breath of fresh air to see Manson back on his game. THAT was what was most exciting.

The songs he played were fine for what the show was. It was the energy and excitement in which he and the band played them, that I thoroughly enjoyed. They put on a solid show. Why hate on that? Don't be so cynical. Lighten up, have a Fiber One bar, and enjoy life a little more.

You're honestly gonna tell me you expected something more than this? With the amount of time the band has to play this is a decent setlist for people who like Manson and who have no clue who he is. This is NOT a Manson tour and I would even go as far to say this isn't a typical Co-headline tour either. It's just a glorified traveling festival. Plus even with his most recent tours his setlist still consists of mostly this save for a few. You're acting like this is something new here he's been doing this for years. The setlist isn't terrible and it gets the job done grow up a bit.

I would say that the setlist is terrible for a Manson fan who knows his discography by heart, but for others, it definitely gets the job done.

The band is great! Setlist sucks! Manson sounds amazing! He doesn't care! General audience who haven't seen Manson are stoked to see so many songs they like! Diehard MM fans want moar deep cuts! LOL

Glad you had a great show and thanks for the review and photos. I can't wait for the make up date for SLC

Damn, at the July 6 show in NY he screwed up the lyrics the same way in the beginning but he didn't fuck up the entire song like he did there. He looks so pathetic.

WTF was going on there? They played the whole song out of sync with the backing track? And Manson sings to a backing track for the whole song?

At least 5 of the 6 band members take their job seriously.

That ACSS video right there is a seriously technical issue that trainwrecked the whole band. The backing track of ACSS includes some synth, chant vocals and synth/guitar layers. Whatever the fuck is going on there is something way beyond just out of sync backing track. If you put on headphones you can hear more on the right side the in sync, but something is causing the whole mixing feeding to be repeated with delay, including drums in vocals (which you can hear more on the left side). Drums aren't not backing tracked, so I'm guessing this is some major fuck up with the PA. Can't even imagine trying to push thru something like that as a performer, especially when you don't have the time in your set to try and stop and start over without cutting something else out.
