It sounds like some sort of horn instrument, but I'm not sure. Do you guys know?

I really imagine it is a electric guitar with some strange & awesome reverb. Maybe try reverse reverbs , those are very fun. I love the song and sound btw. I have heard guitar feedback almost just like it. But whatever lol it always could be some synth'

I couldn't imagine it not being digital. Sounds like a custom synth.

My only complaint about EMDM and GAOG is that they should have gone wild with the theme.

GAOG needed crazy saxophone solos and EMDM needed a goddamn pipe organ.

Still amazingly awesome albums, though.

On topic, though..surely someone knows?

No horn instruments are credited to anyone in EMDM. It sounds like synth to me.

A pipe organ? Nah. Manson never goes the whole cliche on his work. Using a Orhan would have been very cliche and stereotypical for a Vampyresque album. TGAOG went all out and totally sold the imagery. Especially live. Both albums did. Incredible imagery.

I'm sure it's a synth. You could always ask Tim on his official Facebook page- I asked him what he used to produce Personal Jesus a while back and he was very thorough.

If you do ask on his FB page, be sure to ask the question you've wanted to know for a long time, what they did to the vocals on EMDM. Just a thought.

I've tried to talk to Skold via FB several times and he's never responded. If someone else would ask, I'd appreciate it.

Not in a creepy way, just asking when his album was gonna be released and etc
