Ha, come on! Couldn't you just put my name in there already, Norsefire??

I'm interested to see if Manson will either play a new track from the upcoming album, or play some old Antichrist stuff. But who am I kidding. It's a festival so they'll probably just do the usual. :(

He has 70 minutes to play. I'll let you know how it goes.

That's good he gets 70 mins, same as Slayer, because he was under them I thought he was going to get much less time than that.

Yeah, should be enough for a decent setlist. Plus, it's the band's first performance in over a month, right?

Slayer opening for Avenged Sevenfold? Ok :/

Weird, indeed; altough tecnically, Meshuggah will be the real closing act the first night.

Huh? What's wrong with that list? That's a nice little set. I'd be happy with it.

You only say it because you weren't there. He was on fire, as someone said already, he fell down and kept singing without showing any signs of anger about it, he played Coma White COMPLETE (He even added a capella chorus at the end of the song), he played Angel With the Scabbed Wings and Cruci-fiction in Space, for satan's sake!!!

Even I, a huge critic of his recent performances, have to admit that yesterday's show was a lot better than expected. I'm so happy right now.

EDIT: Here's the embarrasing moment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LjYSKJaMKQ

I just love the way MM always carries on and if you hadn't seen what happened you wouldn't know. There was another show where he came off the end of the stage a bit hard and went down... kept singing all the way through it.

I think that's a decent festival setlist. Could throw in another lesser-played track from Portrait, Mechanical Animals or Holy Wood for good measure, but it's definitely acceptable given the context. Glad that ACS has been dropped. Was the weakest song of the night when I saw the one-off solo show back in July, and imo it shouldn't even be played, as the abridged version sucks.

Not a bad set. And that one second he fell down? Not at all embarresing

10-17-2016, 01:03 AM
Last time I fell over I just froze from the sheer shock of the it (and the people I took out). Keeping on singing and going without a beat? Impressive more than anything else.

Pure love

Those photos are beautiful!!!!! Standard setlist as of recent... it's good!!! Would have been a nice surprise to at least do a more ACSS influenced set, but whatever.

10-17-2016, 07:19 PM
It's a great set, PERFECT for a festival they aren't even headlining, and Manson seems to trip over a barricade-support, doesn't miss a beat, then pops right back up.

Anyone who thinks that's "embarrassing" can kindly gtfo.
