First world problem: I'll have to skip Prague, those dates are too close together. Vienna and Munich it is. Hell yeah.

London and Wolverhampton I think. I always want to go to more, and/or some overseas shows, but as always he's announced they go one sale when I'm about to go on holiday and don't have too much spare cash!

I'm considering doing Glasgow over Wolverhampton, the Civic hall is a shitshow security and access wise. Had an awful time with it last time we saw Manson there

Was everything OK for me, small venue as well so I loved it.

That's good then! It is a nice smaller venue, but they fucked all us who queued all day over. We were told to queue by the middle two doors, so we would be allowed in first having queued all day. So everyone got in number order, then they opened all the doors. So most of us who waited all day didn't get barrier, whereas people who just arrived did

Kind of soured the experience for me :( Was a great gig still! But I really want to have barrier at Manson sometime

Norse which part of the UK are you from? I'm from Birmingham.
Also did I see you at the last Wolves gig? Were you wearing the striped face makeup in Bishop's attire or am I getting you mixed up lol, they were with a woman with pink makeup if I recall correctly.

I arrived to Wolves *late* and the venue was pretty much empty for the best part of half hour. Plus being in the first queue they were still letting people in at least two hours later even halfway into Krokodil's set. It was very packed and my only regret is not staying at the front of the crowd when I had the chance but that will change this year so I can be blessed by the man himself. Side note, I only experienced a ticket check and frisk search at the door, other than that no problemo.

Edit: Don't bother with parking there, it's a shit show but your only a five minute walk from the train station so try that instead! x

Yeah I had the slo mo tion stripes and priest shirt, which is an actual shirt for real not a fancy dress shirt lol. I may wear that again.

I'm from lincolnshire so i'm like 2 hours away from most shows apart from Glasgow lol.

What are the chances of a VIP or Meet and Greet package being available for this leg? I sincerely hope these are offered soon, so far all I see are generic/standing tickets.

VIP - http://future-beat.com/artist.cfm?id=6765

Looks like a scam tbh, just read the reviews of this page and there is a lot of complaints.

kk_15
05-19-2017, 09:10 AM
Please link me to these reviews if you can! I think £230 is a lot dude, even to meet Mazza again but whatever, I've emailed the website asking about if these packages are valid for the UK leg and if they are official, look forward to sharing their response here. Bummed that you still have to buy tickets separately too lol. Also, Manchester and Newport have sold out already! Damn dude, considering he ain't toured Wales since 2001 iirc.

Edit: I'm certain that VIP Packages get announced via social media as well, eg. the Slipknot ones were. I'm not trusting it until if and when Manson's camp confirms.

Mexxecutioner

You can just google the reviews. They seem like the absolute scammers. I was getting pumped already as I would pay for a M&G again, but this sounds like a horrible experience. I wonder if the Manson camp is aware of this.

Ardis
05-19-2017, 11:54 AM
I asked promotional agency for Prague concert about that and they discussed that (probably) with Manson camp - surprisingly, the VIP Packages seem legit. Still don't trust that website until Manson announces it by himself.

I bought VIP for one show this year and everything was OK. It's not a fake site.

MrPogo
05-19-2017, 01:19 PM
Christ, that's double what it cost last time (£230 vs £117). Although to be fair it's "only" about a 50% increase in $US terms ($300 vs $190). Fucking Brexit.

I'll hopefully be going to Wolverhampton again, I would prefer if he was doing Birmingham instead but that's just because it'd only take me half an hour to get there.

Why no meet & greet for the netherlands date? Wtf

Marsmind
05-20-2017, 12:47 AM
So it looks like you can get a lithograph and a ticket for 260 with no meet n greet. Or a meet n greet with no lithograph with a ticket for 300. Oooo litho or a few minutes with Manson. That would be a hard choice to make for me if we get the same thing in the US. but I bet the Litho purchasers will get early entry even if there's no meet n greet with it.

I'm curious how a litho won't get damaged or a slight wrinkle during a manson concert? I didn't bring my MA album last time for fear of damage.

Curious that Manson's previous Tweet announcing the VIP Packages for the Slipknot tour have a link taking you to the same page as the one circulating now. I'll make my decision by the end of the week, not looking encouraging tho given the people still haven't responded to either of my three emails.

EDIT: The Marilyn Manson website has been updated and includes new links to VIP Packages. THIS IS HAPPENING.

It's a generic link to the artist page where the packages get listed. It's official, it's confirmed, and yes it's happening.

For people saying if it's legit or not or good or bad service etc, it's the same company that was used last year and I seem to recall there was a huge positive reaction in comparison to the previous company who handled the VIP ticket packages.

Individual tour threads have now been added to the tour sub forum...

Has Manson done pre-show meet and greets before? With a couple of other acts they've been way before the doors opened to general ticket holders, and both have provided the opportunity for you go stash items in your car or whatever (one was you can freely enter and leave the venue until the point the doors open, the other kicked you out entirely but provided a special queue for the early entry). I guess you either park nearby or just take something sturdy like a poster tube and stay out of the moshpit!

I hope so. The last time he did a meet in greet in the netherlands was back in 2012 and money was an issue for me at the time. But now i have the money so it would be awesome to meet the man.

I'm sure you could politely ask venue staff at the doors to maybe keep a valuable off to the side for you if you come in on the train? I'm gonna try it but probably won't bring much stuff to get signed anyway, would just prefer some photos with him and a chat.

Not if you want rail, my friend... poster tube- good call- if they let you in with it. Last tour, they were very particular what could and could not enter the venue- but that's different at each venue...
