Visions of bygone fights haunt the fragile mind.
Chasing a moment, then realising that it's already far behind.
Whispers of the past echo against the pale walls.
The hurt fills the heart as the memory recalls.
Dust withers through the room in an unsettling bright gloom
The sun fades behind the roofs as the horizon pulls her in.
Light follows it's ancient architect's fatal skin.
Meanwhile nostalgia knocks at the door with her face rotten, but irresistable non the less.
She came to tear your heart, mind and soul apart with one last carress

Time is the enemy
Or is it the incapability to comprehend,
that life events are not at our command?
Full of regrets and questions we stand,
trying to seize a moment but ending up with an empty hand.

I'm not a great one for poetry, but that's a really good piece. It's easy to relate to (at least for me). I hope that writing this helped you to get out of your depression.

Hey, thanks for the comment. It took me over a year to get over it for the most part. It's still there from time to time but not as bad as the past year. If you like my writing maybe you'll like my music as well. Check me out on youtube, my bands name is First World Appetite.
