Kind of unexpectedly seeing Gang of Four a week from today and then Interpol the day after.
I'm only passingly familiar with either but I own one of Gang of Four's recent CDs (which I've barely played once) and know a couple of their classics.
And I only know a handful of Interpol's singles but I saw them at a streetfest almost a decade ago and they were pretty good, albeit a bit shoegazey.
Lookin' forward to both but after YEARS of pretty much only seeing bands I'm a BIG fan of it feels kinda weird to go to anything I'm THIS much of a n00b about, lol.
Cause it breaks my heart that we live this way
My Chemical Romance - 13 Feb, Birmingham UK.
I'm seeing them the following Saturday as well, but since I had a change of plans this Sunday I decided to get tickets and see them twice.
Gogol Bordello - March 13th, Bristol
Hanzel und Gretyl / Genitorturers in March
Aryia / ANGELSPIT - April @ Dracula's Ball!!!! Can not wait to finally see Angelspit live.
I've seen quite a few bands in the past month, mainly from the Big Day Out festival and a couple of sideshows.
The standouts for me were:
- Grinderman (Nick Cave's latest project)
- Iggy Pop and The Stooges
- Rammstein
And I'll be seeing Gary Numan in May. :)
Can anyone tell me if the Rob Zombie tour t-shirts are any good? Il be seeing them tomorrow and I'd rather not carry money unless they have some really cool merch.
Please visit the site I write for: http://gamekudos.com/
^ Hell yes.

EDIT: The merchandise shown on that page may not be the merch you see at the gig, but it gives you an idea of what you can find.
