After a few hours of playing Arkham Asylum, I must concur that it fucking rules.

The most recent one I purchased was - Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. It's a great little 2D fighter with an interesting story, wonderful characters, and awesome gameplay. I think fans of the Guilty Gear series will love it, since it's made by some of the same people and it's almost like a sequel to that series.

I'm planning on buying Arkham Asylum soon, it looks great.

it seems like the consensus is that Blazblue is quite a good game. all the guys at work say that its amazing, and we havent gotten a single used copy in since its release, so that has to mean something. ive never really been a huge fan of fighters, but i might have to check that one out.

and i bought GH5 the other day. lolol. the songs arent so terrible, but they arent so great either. and one more thing, the developers dont know their genres. >_<

It's worth it, believe me =) The only gripe I have is the relatively small amount of usable characters. It's rumored that the European release will have extra characters though, and they might put those ones up on XBox Live for the others to download. The gameplay and stuff sort of makes up for it though anyway. I haven't played it online yet, but I've heard the online tournaments are really well-made and connect quite smoothly.

So far I don't think any is out, but I'm guessing (and hoping) that new characters may come out for download. (Though it'd be pretty hard to fit them into the story mode, it's already so intertwined with each of the existing characters)
