Anyway- as for me, definately Marilyn Manson, and I'm guilty of loving Degas and Paul Delaroche. Then again- I never really got into the 21st century artists, tbh.

Default Your Favorite Artists and/or Pieces

Since the other thread wasn't saved before the switch to this layout, we'll have another one. I'm curious about your favorite artists, sometimes they influence my own art :D

My favorite artist is Zdzisław Beksiński, a Polish painter (though it's not limited to just paintings)

The Naiad (AKA Hylas with a Nymph) (1893) by John William Waterhouse

Hylas and the Nymphs (1896) by John William Waterhouse

I remember seeing a picture of The Naiad by J.W. Waterhouse in one of my parents art books when I was about 7 or 8 years old and being absolutely spellbound by it, I would literally sit and just look at every little detail of it for around an hour at a time.

The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli (1781)

One day when I'm rich as fuck I'll buy these 3 pieces, but for now I'll just have to make do with oil reproductions.

I love J.W Waterhouse! Specially his Ophelias. And Zdzisław Beksiński (Polish names just kill me, how the fuck do you pronounce that) is infuckingsane.
I need to go to bed right now but I'll post my list properly tomorrow.
