The chorus for the song, particularly when it is used in the opening, sounds remarkably like Antichrist Superstar.

Her and Chris "I'm going to rip off ALL THE THINGS!" Motionless just released the video for ITM's "Whore". Also known as the "mOBSCENE" video.

Also, Motionless In White's new album. All of it.

Edit: for some reason, I can't do text for the spoiler or embed videos.

Yes, obviously I'm well up to date with their stuff as it comes out, but I don't see how you make such a direct correlation to mOBSCENE apart from the obvious, and very superficial, similar use of era theme. You're right about Chris Motionless though, I've said since the first time I saw that band they were trying too hard to be the next Manson, and failing dismally.

Never listened to Kyuss before but I checked them out after the post earlier in this thread.

    At about 45 seconds.....

Can you not just hear Manson saying, "No salvation, no forgiveness"?

The Big Black Bus version of "Red In My Head" sounds suspiciously similar to "New Model No.15" to me... Hear the fast drumming, near exact rave synths etc, could be true given that many of these tracks from the old cassettes made it as real tracks on ACSS so... can't post the videos for comparison as of yet because my iPhone keeps pissing around when I try to go on these forums. But I suggest you check it out, I've only just took the chance to hear these Spooky Kids demoes to my surprise, sorry if this parallel has already been made.

I'm not sure how many Manson fans are Christian Death fans, and of those who are how many enjoy Valor's Christian Death but it is apparent to me that not too many people are aware of the similarities between "Burning Flag" and the last portion of "Does It Hurt" from Christian Death's 1998 Pornographic Messiah.

I like both songs but I can't help but think of this every time I hear "Burning Flag". It begins around 4:08.

I wasn't born with enough middle fingers. I do what I like.

    Oh yeah, for that matter:

    DEEP SIX

Does Manson drink his Jack straight? Does he sleep with his wife? Does he pay his whores?

This isn't a direct parallel to any specific song, but does the chorus of Slave Only Dreams To Be King remind anyone else of some of Throbbing Gristle's catalogue?

Default "That sounds suspiciously similar!": Marilyn Manson Edition

As per my posts in chat. And it goes both ways - people Manson's ripped on and people who have ripped on Manson. (I'm not really looking for visual influences in either direction; there's a thread for that.)

Didn't someone mention that "Devour" is a direct lift from another band?
