On recommendation, I have just begun watching The Sopranos, and in the fourth episode in (I think) the character Anthony Jr. was wearing a Marilyn Manson shirt with Manson's face in the magnifier from The Beautiful People video. Trivial maybe, but it is always amusing seeing him out of context.

The Headbangers tend to wore very early Manson shirts to the ring, as seen here in their debut, in which Jim Cornette even mentions.

^I remember seeing that poster in the Inbetweeners and getting ridiculously fanboyish about it!

I have no real contribution to this thread in the way that others have, but I'd like to say how much I love that an artist often just labeled as a shock rocker has managed not only to keep a steady career in a very difficult business and managed to remain well known but also the general impact he has made on popular culture, just weeks ago I saw in a show called Waterloo Road (it's awful) which is based in a school and in several episodes I heard 3 MM songs being used in the show, one of which was from Born Villain which is an excellent example of how he has made an impact on pop culture with his music still being used in a show aimed at teenagers.

The focus should really be on the lack of cultural relevance recently.
