Cool and ever cooler he mentioned NIN in a friendly manner. :)
I'm A Class Act
Lol, it seems like he is mentioning them in a friendly manner....
one of the reason why he has chose Starfuckers is that song is (amongst other of Trent's enemies) a hit at Manson.
Trents electronic vocal effects are supposed to suggest that Manson could not perform vocals in one take, and multi-tracked his vocals because he is a shit singer. There are other parts of the song you could analyse deeper, but anyway...
The song can really fit into the context of X factor winners too.
Shows Manson's great sense of humour well, thanks for posting Norse!

I think it was a friendly comment, not really towards TR - but that song in particular. I think it's overall message really sums up a great meaning for the holidays =)
reverse icarus the sun's flown too close to us and there's no space to escape consciousness laid agape
I love how the Man hasn't lost his good sense of humor.
And it is funny he mentions NIN, indeed. But then again, it doesn't surprise me. I mean, as some of you already pointed out, it's a song that was directed at him, he was on the video and he even sang it live once, in a moment that was a peak for fans of both bands.
So, with all this "going indie, playing classic albums live in its entirely" tendencies, and now this... I don't know. He might follow what NIN has done recently, and that's undoubtely a good thing.
Awesome. I actually like Starfuckers as a song a lot.
