Chad Kroeger confirmed at the JUNO Awards that the two were making music together for Avril Lavigne's follow up to her 2011 release "Goodbye Lullaby".

I know this is probably the wrong thread to comment on the Born Villain photos (because it's titled "Candid/Public") but I prefer the "stripped down" close-up photos best. I think they're more representative of the "villainous" theme than the (more obviously) staged ones.
