Default Smashing Pumpkins - Teargarden By Kaleidyscope Vol 1

Or as I like to say "The first 9%." The first physical segment of the (eventually should be) 44 track album comes with 4 song cd, 7" marbled vinyl and 2" leopard stone obelisk.

    Tracklisting

    Cd:
    1) Song For A Son
    2) Astral Planes
    3) Widow Wake My Mind
    4) A Stitch In Time

7 Inch has the "Teargarden Theme"

The quality of the track ARE better than the downloads but there really isn't too much of a difference. The tracklisting is in a different order than the downloads were released and it actually seems to flow better.

I'll admit this is a rather C-grade release (The songs were free so don't whine) but I'm a sucker for collector's releases so I'm glad I got it. (And it came 3 days early :D) I have a feeling the next set of 4 will be more interesting.

    The official website.

Song for a Son and Astral Planes rule.

Widow Wake My Mind is probably the most horrid SP song I've ever heard.

I think the little obelisk thing was a bit overdramatic for a release but whatever.

You'll see a song player. Click the song title then 'download song' and it SHOULD work from there. The songs are released on random sites then soon after they appear on the band page.

    Thanks.

I can't tell if their site is nice and simplistic or a horrible homage to 90's websites.

The site actually looked a lot worse when the first song came out.
