^ Every damn worth of money in 3-D. The whole movie sometimes scene for scene represents the same stuff you see in the classic Alien. Even the heroine gets to quote Ripley's last words in the final moments of the movie.

And, Casper was on TV. :P

Just saw Prometheus in IMAX 3d. Probably the most intense movie experience i've had. Noomi Rapace and Charlize Theron are the fucking shit. All around great acting by the whole cast. I hope they continue with the story.

^I saw Dark Shadows yesterday. I liked the concept a lot, and I thought Depp was really great in it, definitely made the film. It was funny, too, not constant jokes or anything like that, but I found several really good laughs in it. Some of the people in the rather busy theatre I was in didn't seem to get the humour, which I thought was a little weird.

Yeah, I quite agree with you. But I also thought that Michelle Pfeiffer did a great job. She really got that "soap opar acting style" and gave me some really good laughs. But the whole cast is just brilliant, I believe.
I experienced the same. The cinema was crowded when I went to see Dark Shadow with a friend and the two of us coulnd't stop laughing at times, while others didn't seem to be laughing at all. But I guess you really have to like that kind of humor and the style the movie is made.

 

The way the movie ended was a tiny little bit disappointing. It just seemed a little rushed. But then again the very end with Helena's character opening her is was quite great again, a little predictable mabye but still enjoyable. (:

I saw it last night and was not impressed with it at all. Very cheesy. The self surgical scene was so beyond fake and I thought she was completely obnoxious throughout.
