Default Pre-Order Genealogies of Pain Exhibition Catalogue

Marilyn Manson & David Lynch "Genealogies of Pain" Catalogue
The "Genealogies of Pain" art exhibition featured work from Marilyn Manson and David Lynch and was held in Austria at the Kunsthalle Wien Project Space last July.

The exhibition catalogue has now been listed on the Amazon websites for Pre-order with a release date for April 30, 2011. Amazon.de has an earlier release date listed as January 17.
Amazon product details state that the catalogue is a paperback book and contains 164 pages, 76 illustrations in color and 13 in black and white.

With his brutal post-industrial music, theatrical makeup and controversial lyrics about serial killers and Satanism, shock rocker Marilyn Manson has stood as an icon for a generation of dispossessed teens. It is less well known that Manson has been painting pictures since 1999. Genealogies of Pain presents 30 of his paintings, executed over the past ten years. Manson's portraits of cartoonish characters are rendered in delicate pastel colors, but the subject matter accords with his notoriously morbid aesthetic: one figure gnaws off his own fingers, another wears a gas mask. This volume pairs Manson with filmmaker David Lynch, who has also made a living out of mining mankind's darkest carnal fears. Included here are stills from four of Lynch's early short experimental films, Six Men Getting Sick, The Grandmother, The Amputee and The Alphabet, which employ similar themes of physical and psychological trauma. An interview with Manson explores his techniques and relevant art historical traditions.
    Amazon.co.uk [£23.23]
    Amazon.com [$26.40]
    Amazon.de [EUR 28.00]

vfmk.de The publishers website also has the exhibition catalogue for sale, however their order form only seems to have the option to select the following locations when ordering: Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Pretty awesome. I think it was just listed the past few days because I've been checking the VFMK website weekly for the catalogue to be listed and it wasn't there a few days ago I'm sure, but I'm looking forward to receiving my copy. :D
I tried ordering through the publishers website but they only gave me the 3 locations listed on the billing address which didn't help when I wanted to order to the UK. :(

Can I pre-order without having money in my account? Like will they charge right away?

Amazon doesn't from my experience. Usually the price will drop then you get charged when it ships.

they don't charge until the item is shipped.

therefore, we could all pre-order a hundred copies and drive up the books rank so high, the holy wood book publishers would shit themselves trying to get that book out.

I spoke to a guy in the chat and he said that they contact your bank for authorization and if not enough funds are available, it might go through... I will put money in either tomorrow or early this week... should I go for it?

Cause I only have 12 and change in my debit card, ordered some CD's on Tuesday.
