Sure, but then we wouldn't have one of my favorite posts in this whole thread!

Haha, that was some good shit.

I think it's far more assinine to want a person to stay alive when they are in misery because of past mistakes or things that have happened to them. I myself came close once but just that little sliver of hope I stuck to and pulled through.

Nothing short of painful physical deformities or terminal illnesses should be considered a justifiable excuse for suicide. I know from experience that it doesn't feel like it, but your problems seriously aren't that big of a damn deal.

Now obviously these people aren't in a healthy state of mind, and the worst part is they usually have people who SHOULD have seen it coming and gotten them help.

^ I would agree with that. Unfortunately depression takes away that objectivity. I don't think there are ethics to suicide, just tragedy. I could sometimes shake those who give in and take what could have been a good life but at the same time, I feel desperately sorry for anyone who finds themselves without hope.

    I agree completely.
I was timid of the PC crowd though.

Getting them help includes recognizing the signs and getting them psychiatric care.

    Some people are beyond that.

I agree with most of what you're saying. Suicide is usually the wrong choice, and usually preventable.

I just think sometimes it is the right choice. Sometimes suicide is the correct, and stronger, option. Life isn't for everyone.
