I'm listening to the record right now for the first time and I'm really enjoying it!:) It really seems to be satisfying my expectations! I'm so glad! :>
I would prefer having a booklet with some more artwork, but well. As long as the music is good, the booklet is not that important to me... ;D

Am I the only person who likes the artwork? I mean, yeah, there's not much to it, but this isn't an album like Holy Wood where the artwork is as sprawling and multifaceted as the musical themes on the album. Born Villain is a different beast altogether, denser and more focused, and the album art reflects the nature of the album perfectly. I even like the strange little word circle containing the song titles; the music is meant to be a throwback to post-punk and early goth rock, and the artwork looks like that one finds in, for example, the liner of Christian Death's Catastrophe Ballet.

    ^Yes. Yes you are.

I'd like something more than Theol's cover in a lighter shade of blue.

This is the time around every MM album that I stay as far away as possibly from forums because people post spoilers, reviews ect. Everyone's opinion is welcome, just put it in the right thread, or create one. It's just when I'm waiting for the CD to come out in USA and someone posts their review where it doesn't belong, in detail upon my first listen of tracks I look for it. Cannot help it and I'm sure others feel the same way. Just like when amazon.com reviews a Film and it starts off good and they sometimes spoil it to the highest degree, so disappointing, goddamn.

By the way, if someone could PM me a response I saw a post the said USA CD doesn't have the Manson/Depp cover. Please tell me this is untrue! Has it been confirmed? Thanks in advance

If anyone has found a copy at a PHX, AZ area store PM me. Thanks

EDIT: Never-mind stores that have it early in Phoenix, AZ area, I drove to a few large record stores in the area that said they have yet to even receive copies of the CD. I hope for Manson that Cook Vinyl doesn't drop the ball on this album by not having CD's available in major cities in the USA. I understand that they are based in the UK, but it will deter people (who still pay for music) from paying for the record if they cannot find it.

I also ordered those but also an Australian edition that had some buttons as extras.

I posted the link a few pages back Emma, I thought about it but it's while stocks last so it's sort of a risk. I guess it's still an Aus edition BV though.

Just checked HMV.com and Amazon.co.uk to see what the Vinyl says for the UK release and it says it will now be released on May 21.
