Hmmmmmm. Interesting. Well, if it's true...glad to know we found out before the tour started.
Great addition. I just hope Manson himself takes the upcoming tour seriously.
That's the only site I found that says that. I'm not being cynical, but I wouldn't really consider it a credible news announcement...yet. We'll see. Then again, tis the season for fans jumping the gun and overloading the MM news sections with this type of stuff. No offense. I've done it.
I was a little hesitant to post that, but once it pans out I'd like to be the guy who jumped the gun and gets to rub it in everyone's face. I'm like that.
I like to play a game. Ever play 12 degrees of Kevin Bacon? Marilyn Manson is the musical Kevin Bacon. Now I can successfully connect MM to Chris Cornell. Life is good.
Chris Cornell did some vocals on the 1992 Alice in Chains EP, Sap.
Alice in Chains have performed live with Maynard James Keenan on vocals.
Maynard James Keenan was in a short lived band called Tapeworm with Trent Reznor and Danny Lohner...
...both of which have worked plenty with Marilyn Manson.
I'm sure there are easier ones (beside the one this thread is about), but I don't know jack-shit about Chris Cornell.
Close my eyes just to look at you.
^ Chris Cornell was in Soundgarden. Soundgarden was originally on the label Sub Pop. Sub pop also once released an album by Nirvana. Nirvana's drummer was Dave Grohl. Dave Grohl once played drums for Queens Of The Stone Age. After firing their bass player, one Jeordie White auditioned for the role of QOTSA's bass player. Jeordie White is also known as Twiggy Ramirez. Twiggy Plays for Merlin Mensen.
Kiss my ass, Kevin Bacon.
Looking back, I guess I could have just went with 'Maynard was in APC with Twiggy'.
Derp.
Close my eyes just to look at you.
Or...
Soundgarden's Superunknown came out the same day as NIN's The Downward Spiral and it was the only reason the latter never reached Number One on the Billboard charts.
And Manson was signed to Nothing, inc. at the time!
:D
