There's a pix of Manson and Depp from the Revolver Golden Gods Awards in the "Random Notes" section of this month's issue, with a brief accompanying article called Friend of the Devil:

At the Revolver magazine's annual Golden Gods Awards in L.A. on April 11th, Marilyn Manson was joined by friend Johnny Depp, who busted out tasty licks on "The Beautiful People" and Eurythmic's "Sweet Dreams." Captain Jack also makes an appearance on Manson's new disc, Born Villain, playing several instruments on an aggro cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain." It turns out the pair are bros from way back: "I was on 21 Jump Street when I was 19," Manson tells Rolling Stone. "I was an extra. If you pause the episode, you can see me running my hand through my mullet." Note: YouTube that!

I've seen the photo of Manson as an extra walking behind Depp but I can't find it now. I'll keep looking in my spare time.

My pleasure! Usually I'm Mr. Rolling-Stone-subscription/scanner-OHAI-guy but shit's tricky atm, teh lulz.

But it's a cool picture and an AWESOME issue, which even goes so far as to echo the Manson's own voting record with a cover story/feature about Obama! Awesome. I'm sure that's the backstory there, right?

Anyway, the pic is great, go buy that issue if you wanna see more about this featurette and ESPECIALLY if you wanna see more coverage about Manson in future issues!

I remember someone once saying that Rolling Stone's Random Notes section has a love affair with Manson. This just reaffirms it.
