    Default 'Born Villain' Record Sales

According to MediaTraffic.de "Born Villain" has sold 80,000 units in its first week of release, including 38,000 units in the United States and 7,000 units in the UK.

As it sells quite poorly and even worse than "The High End of Low", I don't think this is going to be Mr Manson's big comeback ...

I think many are missing out on the context he used "comeback" in. He's coming back to his original identity and passions again. To even once consider he's going to be on top, would have been hoping for FAR too much. Not a big deal to me, cause the album kicks ass either way.

I just deleted Born Villain from my library. I only listen to whatever is at the top of the charts, so this didn't make the cut.

Close my eyes just to look at you.

I think you might have to add a "sarcasm disclaimer" to circumvent a potential uprising.

I care about sales because i want him to keep releasing new albums, but even if this sold 100,000 copies in US, he will be ok. Cooking Vinyl is a small label, that's very good numbers for them.

And nobody sell albums nowadays, even popstars. He still has a Top 10 album, so i don't care. The music is amazing.

    Excellently put!

I love their new studio album and they deserve better than 80,000 units. Especially since they care about the fans again.

One Direction are at #6 in the Global Pop Charts with 89,000 units sold last week (only 9,000 units better than Manson's "Born Villain"). I don't remember who's #1, but they only sold a bit more than 120,000 units. So nobody's buying records anymore.

Born Villain is #47 on Amazon.com.... Yesterday it was #60... hopefully it will have more longevity than The High End Of Low, Manson needs to promote, release more music videos, i hope this era is not like EMDM or THEOL and ends up having one or two videos and nothing else.

That's impressive considering the machine behind One Direction and the market they are aimed at.
Carrie Underwood's new album is #1.

a lot of the music i like/ listen to probably never even makes the top 200, so this means nothing to me, really.
