    She's immoral.

    It's a stupid idea to hit yourself in the face in order to kill a fly crawling on it.

    I'm sure many would say the same about Manson and others listed here (not that I'd agree with them).

    No doubt. However, I meant "immoral" in the broader sense of the word. This is the life she's created for her 14 children.

    Both of these. I really don't think that we will have another Marilyn Manson in the same way that we have yet to have another Alice Cooper or David Bowie. I don't think that record labels are going to help push an outrageous, exploitiative band into the mainstream media, and even if they did, what media is there to push it into? The days of MTV are long past, and although we have YouTube, the TRL-style interviews, the commercials on the tele, a lot of that sentiment is now long past, so I think that regardless of how badly any band may try to be the next "This" or the next "That," the field is always evolving, and therefore the players must adapt themselves. Survival of the fittest, and no two creatures are exactly alike.

    His lyrics are much more explicit than Manson's, and his controversial lyricism dividing the hip hop community. Also wrote some very controversial political songs such as "Abortion" & "Ground Zero", and has a very unique appearance as does Manson. The jump from "Tha Carter III" to "Rebirth" was as important of a move as Manson's from ACSS to MA. Very intelligent, a former straight A student and one of the best selling artists of this generation due to his business ventures with Cash Money Records.

    The hate for lil wayne also mirrors the reaction Manson gets from some detractors, misunderstanding the message behind his music and persona.

    Here an interview done in 1996 in which Manson says the same thing, that they were never tying to be shocking, which matches his comments last month:

    @1:30 -

    I don't set out to just shock people, because that's very easy; a lot of people could do that. I just like to do things the way that makes me happy. And sometimes that's too much for certain people, but trying to push the envelope to make the boundaries wider as far as what you can and can't do in music.
    April 2012:

    I never thought you could be shocking, I never tried to be shocking. The only thing you can do is confuse people, because it makes them think. And the art of confusion, in chaos, is the way to make people think; its a way to create a catylist of change. I had to remind myself that I never wanted good reviews. I just want people to fear, and through that fear may come respect.
    Don't believe everything the news media tells ye...
    Desire is pain, eating away the worm in the brain ... Frontiers are coming down between body and soul, abrasive, insane, putting away the spark in the brain. Our flesh burns in mysterious ways.

    Like the first of sins, there is no one to blame. The earth grew wet on the seventh day. And we sit down for a feast of hate. We eat each other in a twist of fate.

    I think we'll have someone when music stations on TV start playing actual music not cRap and shit hop. Bring the Rock and Roll back.
