Animal experimentation and my empathy

I propose we replace animal testing with Inmate testing. These tests serve a valuable purpose, and we do happen to have an overcrowded prison system. Test dangerous chemicals and and cosmetics on death row. I'm sure we already do, but really it should become standard.

I've always thought prison should be about rehabilitation, not revenge. The reason I suggested death row inmates is because they are going to die anyway. With any luck the chemical trials will do the job quicker, saving individual states money, and allowing these people to benefit society in some way.

I think it would be great if humans could be used for ALL of these experiments, but many experiments done today simply wouldn't be possible, because some experiments do require the use of other species to produce e.g. antibodies to human proteins which are then in turn useful in research that benefits humans.

I chose not to purchase products (with the sole exception of pharmaceutical ones) that I have known to have been tested on animals.

I'd rather have my products tested on the individuals, stereotypical groups, nations and cultures I dont particularly like.

I think it's utterly hilarious that you'd call someone else a "cynical asshole" when you're the one suggesting that inmates, who could be innocent for all you know, get tested and experimented on.

Also, you know what's incredibly sad about many of your posts? You make these claims and express your opinion as if you're so sure of yourself, only to resort to name calling and ridiculous, irrelevant accusations if someone disagrees with you or calls out your bullshit.

Seriously, do you have a response to the fact that not everyone on death row is 100% guilty, that some are wrongfully convicted? Can you please give a response that's actually as intelligent as you seem to think that you are?
