Without any insider information, precognition or eye witness testimony, I'd like to wildly predict that this video will look something like a cross between I Don't Like the Drugs and Tainted Love. Maybe with a bit of Scanners in there...

I think we've got ourselves some real shit- FTFY

    XD

I just hate the song and don't think it's a good track, I think it poorly presents the album (No Reflection was perfect as a single), the video concept is fairly dumb and the song itself is slow, boring, monotonous, and nothing happens in it at any point that's remotely interesting. His voice sounds at it's worst of the album on this, honestly (along with HCW, but even that is better pick for a single). This is the "safe" choice and it's a boring one. I don't see anyone becoming interested in the album because of it that wasn't already interested before.

They don't play videos anymore. The record industry is such shit now, I'm sure Manson himself is financing the video out of his own pocket. I just don't think its a profitable or marketable part of the game anymore. That is why many smaller bands don't even bother putting out a video. Or if they do, it's just one. I know Wednesday 13 didnt even bother with a video for the past 2 albums. Sad, yes. I for one love videos. But the "era's" of making 4 videos or more is long dead I think...unless you are Lady Gaga.

I hope I am dead wrong. We will see.

I agree. But it's also true that Youtube is another business right now, and you can make money from views. I think the problem is Manson videos are not as creative as they used to. To be honest, most of them look like low-bugdet videos.

I'm not excited to be honest, his videos since LWF are dark places, close-up of his face... and that's it.

When the album came out, slo-mo-tion was one my less favorites, I thought it was a boring track, but now is one of my favourite ones, it is a cool song and it would be a good single as long as they make a good video.

But.... wait a minute, what's up with the "hey cruel world" video?

"Slo-mo-tion" is a good track. It sounds like a b-side from the 'Mechanical Animals' album. I don't think it's really single worthy or catchy as much as songs like "Pistol Whipped" and "Hey Cruel World" are though.

I think doing a video for "Hey Cruel World" would be smarter from a business angle because it would show people that this album is a "return to a heavier sound" which many who stopped listening to MM were craving.

Just my 2 cents. Either way I look forward to it and I think the 2 videos of this era so far have been a big improvement!

Do you honestly think the same of No Reflection? I thought that video was awesome and well made and certainly not cheap looking :S
