Thomas Jane made this unlicensed short film and premiered it at the San Diego Comic Con just the other day. Seems to pretty much be an open challenge to Marvel to get their shit together and basically tell them, "READY WHEN YOU ARE. YOUR MOVE."

I always loved the Thomas Jane Punisher film. It was dark, gritty and engaging!

Furthermore, the 'russian fight' is one of the best fight scenes I've ever seen in a film. Would love to see a continuation of this chronology, with Thomas Jane but I somehow doubt that will happen.
