Jane's Addiction

Man, how did I go so long without paying attention to these guys? I had to write a paper last fall advocating someone's induction into the Cleveland Rock Hall and decided on JA just because of how big Lollapalooza was in its time, and figured I should listen to them. Now I regret leaving only fifteen minutes or so into their show a few years ago, but we were all tired from NIN and not very familiar with their music.

Anyway, I've been devouring their albums for the past several months and I'm seeing them in Cleveland next week. Not really sure what to expect though...

I saw them when they toured with Nine Inch Nails. You won't be disappointed, I thought they were great. Expect to have a good time.

Ah man, Jane's is fucking epic, and I wish I'd been able to attend the NINJA tour, because they were ON FIRE.

I don't have tickets to Lollapalooza this year, but I am going up to see Jane's Addiction play an "afterparty" show separate from the rest of the festival.

It was just a free pass from a pal of sister but I'm TOTALLY psyched about it. Never been a really big fan, but I've always enjoyed their music and they definitely kicked ass at the NIN/JA shows. Hoping to get away with filming again!

Anyway, while trying to refresh my memory and prepare for the show tomorrow I finally went ahead and uploaded my footage of their last NIN/JA show.
