Interview with John 5 - talks about playing in MM and Ginger Fish

Ok so sorry if this has been posted already, did a search and didn't find it out. This is a quite recent and interesting interview with John 5 where he pretty much discusses his life as a guitarrist, including his work with Marilyn Manson, from the day Manson invited him to join till his departure. He seems to be a great guy and is still "a fan" of Mansons work, as stated. Interesting the coments about the insane touring, the Mechanical Animals era (the Last Day on Earth album never ceases to inspire debate too :D), the whole HW recording (kind of a strange mixed feel coming out of his words when talking about everyones contribution) and GAOG. The chat really confirmedwhat I thought contributed the most for the departure, him being so "different" from the rest and the whole concept, not in a bad way, just different. Really nice comments about Ginger too and how the idea of him joining RZ was Johns. Great to see John 5 so good, I think he fits fine in RZ and wish him the best.

Thanks for posting that, it's a great interview. Some of the stuff I have read about before with him and MM but it's cool to hear him talking about it, lots of bits I've never heard about before as well.

Talented, sure. But he's kind of a boyscout. Great to get first hand info on the Manson recording sessions, though. And he's totally right about how the band was at its peak at that time because they were willing to work together AS A BAND

I agree with Celebrity Killing. He is very child-like, I also didn't find John 5 to be very articulate at all, and somewhat annoying to listen to. Anyway, Twiggy writing the songs will always be good for Manson, and on that note, John 5's new solo album 'Gold Told Me To' is fucking terrible, in my opinion.

John sounds like a GENUINELY nice guy. It's too bad he didn't fit in with Manson because his talent is enormous. Atleast we get to see him and Ginger playing shows with Manson. Maybe they'll all hit it off again and maybe do a few medleys?
