I never was offended, just bored at him trying to be offensive in it is all (Plus it's a boring song after the first three listens anyways).
It goes too far.
Nah, people are just too sensitive.
Eh, I don't know. I just like the song.
This song is terrible and I just find it stupid.

Kleiner352 liked this post.
No, I don't find it offensive. But I do think if this song was written in the point of view of a female aggressor some women would see it as "empowering" to them. That sort of hypocrisy and stupidity is offensive.
It's important to remember that even though song lyrics can have a huge impact on people that in the end they are still just song lyrics. Find something important to get worked up over.
I don't find it offensive. It's not as though he is making actual snuff and using it in his music videos. He could just simply be talking about the Marilyn aspect to his persona. There's nothing wrong with abusing a multiple personality. If anything it gives you more control over it and makes it your bitch. Fear yourself. Fear the MAN.
I think there is a point to be proved if this song is actually about beating a chick or just about being in a violent relationship.
Manson has touched the violent relationship matter in some other songs in the past, always in a metaphorical way, sweet tooth, para-noir, deformografy, spade, tourniquete, etc.
And always it was well taken by the audience, but when he speaks about a violent relationship in a literal way then a lot of people react to that. I think he did this song to prove the hipocrisy of some people.
I'm offended there isn't more drum machine in that song. That's the best fucking part! From the break thru to the last chorus when acoustic drums kick in is so jammy.
It's not like it's the first time he's said this kind of stuff. It goes all the way back to Portrait.
Who says date rape isn't kind?
The housewife I will beat
Sweet Tooth is basically a less explicit version of Pistol Whipped in lyrical content.
I want you more when you're afraid of me
I will break you inside out
Is it offensive? I don't think it is, but it might be intended to be. I think people aren't up in arms BECAUSE it's Manson. About the only thing he could do now to get people up in arms again is go back to a more extreme version of his pedophile stuff.

Can't wait for the video. It'll be interesting to see if we interpreted the song the way it was intended.
"Being around Marilyn Manson is like orbiting the sun"It's stupid to hit yourself in the face to kill a fly crawling on it."Sarcasm is the refuge of a shallow mind."
Judging from his most recent video it would be incredibly literal and leave nothing to the imagination.
