I don't understand why anyone would waste their life with someone who was ungrateful for it. "I can't move on because I love them" isn't really an explanation so much as it is an excuse for weakness. There is no destiny dictating that there is only one person you'll ever get to love. Or one 'type' of person for that matter.

The whole "OMG!!! YOU CAN'T CHOOSE WHO YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH!!!" thing is bullshit. Over looking what are often warning signs to everyone else just because of the way someone makes you feel is pretty superficial.

I know too many people who feel they are destined to fall in love with the same type of loser over and over. They are only 'destined' to do so because they allow themselves to fall into pathetic cycle of ignoring the fact that someone is an asshole long enough until they come to NEED them. They create their own 'destiny' and pretend to act surprised.

That's not a comment directed at anyone here, or anything. It's just something I hear all the time and kind of have no sympathy for.
