    Default The Best of....post LWF

I've been amusing myself in designing a new "best of" album with only songs post LWF. Nothing can be used during or before that release. This is my take on it.

    If I Was Your Vampire
    This Is Halloween
    Arma-Goddamn-Motherfucking-Geddon
    No Reflection
    Putting Holes In Happiness
    The Red Carpet Grave
    Overneath The Path Of Misery
    We're From America
    Pretty As A Swastika
    Your So Vain
    Heart Shaped Glasses
    Slo-Mo-Tion
I Have To Look Up Just To See Hell
    Murderers Are Getting Prettier Everyday
    15

....Ok, how cool would it be if these "best of albums" you guys are creating were actual Manson set lists?! How refreshing to hear all of these live. Also, there is no reason why he couldn't do the usual songs too. Some bands that have been around as long as Manson play a 2 hour set.

    Evidence,
    Putting Holes in Happiness,
    Heart-Shaped Glasses,
They Said That Hell's Not Hot,
    Just A Car Crash Away,
    Devour,
    Pretty As A $wastika,
Running to the Edge of the World,
    Wow,
    15,
    Hey, Cruel World...,
    Overneath the Path of Misery,
    Flowers of Evil,
    Lay Down Your Goddamn Arms,
    Born Villain

I chose five songs from each album (15 tracks) and placed them in whatever order I thought of them, so don't view this as a structured Best Of, but rather just fifteen of my favourite post-LWF Manson songs.

    Eat Me, Drink Me
    Slo Mo Tion
Murderers Are Getting Prettier Every Day
    Hey, Cruel World
    No Reflection
    Pistol Whipped
    Overneath The Path Of Misery
    The Flowers Of Evil
    Disengaged
    Breaking The Same Old Ground
    WoW
    Armagoddamnmotherfuckinggeddon
    Blank And White
    We're From America
    Evidence

Was really hard to pick anything from EMDM and THELOL, as I like to pretend those aren't Manson albums.

They really weren't that bad. Just different. But all of his albums are different. Really, Everything before LWF was political/religious/rebellous lyrically and the stuff after it was still genius, but in a more emotional poetic way. And not in some chicken shit "emo" way either. Those albums were fabulous and amazingly crafted emotionally driven albums. I don't think an emo band would even be talented enough to put together such great concept albums and story telling techniques (For instance, I loved how Devour just STOPPED..true film opening credits fashion)

Anyway, carry on with "Lest We Regret" as one PM member said that cracked me up! lol.

I've mentioned my opinions on EMDM and THEOL more than once in the past, so I'll keep it simple: they're just not my kind of album.

Not really enough tracks, let alone strong ones.
