30 minutes late on a festival slot is very late.

^Unheard of actually. I wonder why they played such a stripped down show. Where are all the theatrics?

I mentioned this in the other thread as well, and Heather Quick pointed out that this show was the same as well. It seems they've not taken the whole Twins of Evil stage show with them to these festival dates, so they're using the set up they had during the first legs of the HCW tour this year.
I assume they will be back to using everything else again once the TOE tour starts in Europe at the end of the month.

^Already shipped to Europe. They're not gonna ship the full production to Mexico just for 2 festival shows. Still looks like a cool show. He could have thrown in some extra songs though, since he had a 90 minutes slot to play and no Rob Zombie cutting his set short If he had added Tourniquet, The Reflecting God, Murderers and the Coma Black ending (that recently got cut for whatever reason, it was always beautiful to hear) it would have been a perfect show.

I don't know about the other Maquinaria shows, but in Argentina MM are scheduled to play from 9:55PM until 11:10PM.

    I don't think so.
it doesnt' matter if this are festivals or not. he always plays 13 or 14 songs per show, and that's boring and predictable.

It's pretty straightforward, actually. Since it's a co-headlining tour the arrangement is that the bills for EVERYTHING are split 50/50 right down the middle. So unless the band decides to pay international freight shipping rates to Mexico for their own solo shows, everything they got for the Twins of Evil dates needs to be shipped along with Rob Zombie's equipment wherever that tour's going next instead. And considering it's expensive and there's only a smattering of dates in Mexico it's simply not cost effective and possibly not even possible to use the stuff in a festival setting anyway.

Likewise, festivals are forced to maintain a fairly rigid schedule for each band so as to allow all the OTHER bands enough time to do THEIR show. So, yeah, it really DOES matter.

Plus, these were never booked as Twins of Evil shows so it's unreasonable to assume they would be decked-out like one.

I understand where you guys are coming from but you really need to try seeing the bigger picture and thinking things through a little more rationally. No matter how much the theatrics and stagecraft and showmanship manage to remove you from the daily humdrum of everyday living, the business side of the tour itself still happens within the constraints of the very real world in which it takes place.

    Sorry.

    :P

Thanks Terrapin! That pro-shot video is great, wish they had uploaded the songs in full though, such a tease!

Manson and the crowd both have a ton of energy for this show, and someone nailed some awesome video of it. Great to see.
