Huh? I don't fully understand this. I looked through the thread on the link posted. It seems like this Travis guy asks for the labels permission and then makes the vinyls. That is what im getting from it. Is he part of some vinyl pressing company? Or just like a messenger? And it does not seem to hard for him to get permission for the other albums.

The portrait vinyl just had a theol shot on the label in the centre of the LP, a bit annoying but not the end of the world

A nice worn-in vinyl of ACSS could sound pretty nice...

The issue with the portrait release was they crammed it all on one disc which makes for shit quality. A vinyl sounds best with 15 to 20 min per side. Anything above and your sacrificing quality.

13 songs is about average for an LP, shouldn't be that bad? 6 songs a side isn't cramming. Did it have a vinyl release in 94 & was it a double? Seems a bit weird having 3 songs per side

Edit - actually yeah, side B would be a bit too long. I can see their dilemma as it really isn't a double album but side a is short and side b is too long. Maybe do what the pistols did with submission and have misery machine on a seperate disc

For good quality a normal length cd is released in two discs which is how most MM vinyls are done. Forcing a whole LP onto one vinyl isn't going to sound good

Looks like this has been delayed a bit and might not be out until January. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/in...c/page__st__60

I really hope it is released tomorrow so maybe it can get here in time for me to force him to sign it.

Aren't the masters for ACSS missing anyway? I guess it would be kind of cool to get it but the sound probably won't be anything different.
