“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”

If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way. —Napoleon Hill

I must give credit to my sensei, this quote is in his working email signature. (As opposed to his home email.)

"The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy."

Maybe not too inspirational, but one of my favorite quotes....

"I wore black because I liked it. I still do, and wearing it still means something to me. It's still my symbol of rebellion -- against a stagnant status quo, against our hypocritical houses of God, against people whose minds are closed to others' ideas." - Johnny Cash

Doubt these quotes from stephen/steven ( forget how he spells his 1st name) king are inspiring, but they strike me funny: 'dun bun; can't be undone' and this beaut: ' you wet end...'
