    Default Linkin Park

I'm not sure how this thread will go, but I'm rather fascinated at the seemingly equal amounts of love and hatred that Linkin Park receives like any other band that gets it from both sides. I used to be an avid fan of Linkin Park from 2000 to 2004, but I'm not completely done with them yet as of late. Hybrid Theory and Meteora takes me back to my freshman and junior years of high school, so there's definitely an element of nostalgic preferences I have for them.

I also noticed that even the bulk of the people that have sworn off Linkin Park by the time Minutes To Midnight came out still have a soft spot for Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I haven't really checked out that much of Living Things yet, and I didn't think A Thousand Suns was bad at all. I sometimes prefer their mellower and softer songs. I also got into them during the Hybrid Theory era. One Step Closer and Crawling were the first songs and videos I've ever seen and heard from them. With that said, they're still in some ways, one of my favorite bands of the 2000s.

After Meteora, I completely lost interest.. Even though the song Burn It Down's catchy.

Some things are better left in the 2000's. I've always hated them.

I don't know why I didn't at least include the music videos from Meteora. I actually thought I did for a while. From the looks of it, even the majority of former Linkin Park fans still have love for both Hybrid Theory and Meteora. I even forgot to include In The End.

As for any actual news, Linkin Park might release their sixth album this year.

    What do you like?

Their first two albums were decent enough. Their timing sucked because they got lumped into that nu metal thing, but I still dug them. They went completely downhill after their second album. I don't even know what they are putting out now, but it is god awful.

bought hybrid theory when it came out

    listened to it once
    and
    ......ill just say that
it just wasn't my kind of hot dog.
and i got into other things.

i couldn't tell you where the disc is now,
probably in the ditch with one of my old cars

i will give them this though:
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH REHEARSING, if you get what i mean.
i think some performers could use a little practice/rehearsal

"I'm a strip, strip, strip, and I flicker, flick, flick, flick
A flicker of celluloid and there's holes, holes, holes
    In my everything"

Very random and unfortunate. He'd come into my work every now and then to shop, pretty nice and chill guy. Left behind six kids too. Damn.

</3 Love Kiiara, loved this collab, loved Hybrid Theory- owned and first burned cd.. I related to it in middle school, and can still relate to the album Today. It is one of the albums that I can listen to anytime & belt the lyrics <3

I just don't know what to say, other than I get it. Life can be pretty scary & devastating in reasons others can not fathom to understand or feel.
